ANAHEIM – The City Council on Tuesday is poised to hire The Superlative Group to seek out a naming-rights sponsor for a transit station under construction near Angel Stadium.
If the proposed year-long contract is approved, The Superlative Group will be paid $45,000 to draw up a report that will place a sponsorship value on the Anaheim Regional Transportation Intermodal Center, also known as ARTIC, according to a report by the city’s Public Works Department.

The company would be paid an additional $7,000 per month to create a marketing plan and meet with companies interested in putting its name on ARTIC. After a sponsor is selected, The Superlative Group would receive a 10 percent to 15 percent commission based on naming-rights revenue collected by the city.
