Humble school district to update ad policy to bring in revenue

The Humble school district is looking at upgrading advertising policies as a way of better promoting the district and the services around the district. Since 2008, there have been banners on buses, advertisements at Turner Stadium and ads placed prominently on the district’s website.

“Humble ISD was among the first districts in the state to seek out advertising as a way to bring in additional revenue,” said Jamie Mount, the district’s communications director. “Humble ISD leaders wanted to be proactive about maximizing revenue because public school districts across Texas face financial challenges in meeting students’ needs.”
