Perkiomen Valley sells naming rights to athletic field

The district will receive $12,500 over a three-year period as part of the corporate sponsorship deal announced Wednesday.
The field’s new name — Superior Credit Union Field at Thomas J. Keenan Stadium — will be featured on the scoreboard, the press box, and all printed materials.

“The introduction of advertising into any public school district can be a sensitive topic, but we feel that this agreement strikes the right balance,” said Superintendent Clifford Rogers.
Rogers added that it was important to the district to keep Keenan’s name on the stadium.
