Lodi School District OKs advertising contract
With a new policy in place, the district can now entertain offers from businesses that want to advertise on school property. In the past the district had turned down requests, and the revenue it could bring in, because there were no rules set up.
But last week the Lodi School Board took its first venture and approved a three-year contract with New Tech Painting to put their name on the Highway 60 baseball dugout.
“This is the first request that has come through under the new policy, so it’s a test of not only the new policy but how we might proceed with other future requests,” said district administrator Chuck Pursell at the Sept. 9 board meeting.
