StubHub agrees Redskins naming rights deal

Online ticketing marketplace StubHub has agreed an expanded sponsorship deal with the National Football League’s (NFL) Washington Redskins.The deal will see StubHub, which has been a partner of the team since 2006, rename the Premier Club Level at FedEx Field as the StubHub Club Level until 2018.
The hospitality area, one of the largest premium club levels in professional sports, offers VIP entrances, a range of restaurants and bars as well as a host of other privileges. The activate the deal, StubHub will launch a series of fan experience initiatives at the stadium and install four ‘plush, oversized Dream Seats’ on the 50-yard line, which will be awarded to StubHub customers at every game.
The stadium’s naming rights were sold to Federal Express in a 27-year, US$205 million deal in November 1999.
