Exeter schools to allow ads in athletic facilities
By Becca Y. Gregg
A new facilities advertising program could bring more than $100,000 in additional revenue to the Exeter School District each year, district officials said Tuesday.
With the program in its infancy, though, they estimated that for the first year or so that number would likely fall closer to the $15,000 to $20,000 range. Regardless, Exeter officials said they’ll be happy with any revenue they can get from the advertising program, which the board approved 6-1 at its meeting Tuesday. James J. Brady and Andrew W. Yawger were absent.
“Hey, a buck is a buck,” board member Kathleen A. Muzevich said.
