School district's ad plan stymied

The Boyertown School District’s plan to raise revenue through advertising and naming rights has hit a snag.
After soliciting bids for a company to manage advertising in the district, Boyertown received only one proposal from School Media Marketing, a local firm.
The district reached out for advice from a larger company, Market Street Sports Group, Lancaster, which has worked with both the Wilson and Gov. Mifflin school districts.
The company told Boyertown that the district’s advertising prospects look slim because there is already advertising at Boyertown’s Bear and Memorial stadiums.
