Cheltenham considers advertising in schools

As an option for alternative revenue for future budgets, the Cheltenham School District suggested interior advertising to the public during its budget forum March 26, which allowed residents to interact with members of the staff and school board about the 2012-13 budget.
“It’s in its infancy,” Susan O’Grady, the district’s director of communications and development, said. “This time last year Pennsbury School District launched it … There was a buzz around that. The Alternative Revenue Committee put [Director of Business Affairs Matthew] Malinowksi and I on a mission to find out more.”
