LCUSD board approves naming policy for school facilities based on financial gifts

La Cañada Unified school board members unanimously approved Tuesday a new policy that allows for the naming of school facilities based on financial gifts.

As a result of the decision, donors now can have their names affixed to facilities such as the La Cañada High School football stadium for $1 million, the elementary school playgrounds for $750,000 and classrooms for $100,000, among others.
